Missouri City Fire Station No. 2

To ensure uninterrupted emergency response services, Missouri City Fire Station No. 2 was delivered through a carefully coordinated three-phase construction approach. Bass Construction collaborated closely with the City to maintain full operational continuity throughout the project.

Phase one focused on completing the majority of site paving to establish a staging area for temporary facilities. This enabled a seamless transition of personnel and equipment, allowing for the safe demolition of the aging 30-year-old station.

The final result is a modern, 8,000-square-foot fire station designed to support 24/7 operations. Key features include:

  • Two-bay apparatus room
  • Full-service kitchen and dining area
  • Six dormitories
  • Exercise and day rooms
  • Administrative offices and lobby
  • Gear room and SCBA (self-contained breathing apparatus) room
  • Generator and electrical rooms
  • Combined indoor/outdoor maintenance space

This facility reflects Missouri City’s commitment to public safety and operational excellence, while showcasing Bass Construction’s ability to deliver complex, phased projects on active sites.
