FEMA/TSSI Safe Room

This 19,980 square foot, 160 foot diameter thin-shell cast-in-place concrete Safe Room is designed to withstand hurricane winds up to 200 mph. Part of the Texas Safe Shelter initiative (TSSI), this Safe Room was designed to accommodate 764 occupants during storms. The structure will also house a physical rehabilitation and wellness center.
