Once again Bass Construction was faced with a tremendous challenge. Being awarded an 8,000 s.f. pre-engineered field house in March, 2008 with an late August completion date, the schedule was unusually aggressive. At the outset the team of Bass, VLK Architects, Gilbane (program managers), and LCISD staff went to work with the scheduled completion date in mind.
This fast tracked schedule was not only met, but LCISD got an unusual, attractive and much needed new visitor´s locker and athletic administration office that they are extremely proud of. Lastly, this project also included a brand new athletic stadium lighting system. All completed in time for the first game of the year.
