Take a 100 year old dilapidated jail building, renovate it, add a 3 story new police station and you have the award winning Richmond Police Station. Part of the original historical building was restored and converted into a museum featuring the old cells and gallows. The new and old buildings were tied together with a glass atrium entry area. This project successfully revived history and tied it to the technology of the future.
