The new 23,000-square-foot building marks a significant milestone for Sugar Land’s public safety departments. Located in the heart of the city, this cutting-edge training facility will serve as a one-stop hub for police, fire, and EMS personnel to better prepare for a range of emergencies, from flooding to critical incidents, without leaving the city.
This facility includes an area to simulate in-home scenarios for both police and fire departments, with options to bring in smoke, loud music and live shooters with plastic bullets. Additionally, the facility houses flexible classrooms, apparatus bays and specialized training areas, which can been used by law enforcement around the region.
